Bridle is the innovative bridle creation app for the entertainment rigging industry with a fresh perspective to the ancient craft of calculating bridles.
Bridle combines something basic as gravity and physics with the power of modern technology, cause we feel that a swipe using multi touch technology means more then a thousand key strokes. Creating a bridle using the innovative Bridle user interface is a smooth and refreshing experience. Easy of use and maximum functionality has been our prime goal during the development of this app, and this goal is being achieved every time a bridle leg or a beam load is calculated by you as the rigger.

Need to be able to choose which variables to enter. Like enter spans, legs, and beam heights, and get the hook height. Or enter one leg, et al, and get the other leg. Itd also be nice to have it indicate lengths of deck chain, but that might be me being lazy. Good job so far!
While this app does alot of math for you, the inability to enter leg lengths really stalls. I want to be able to give it beam distance apart and the length of a leg and have it do the rest. Yup I am lazy but thats what in the end Im looking for.
My only suggestion would be to modify the Materials Page so that you could drag a simple basket out of vertical without the need of adding a component ( You can get close by choosing a 1 steel or metric equivalent from the Preferences Page ) Also...the support website seems to have disappeared ?? BUMMER !!! Otherwise...best app on the planet for those that rig shows and need quick solutions on the fly.... The Rx Factor Rigging Ltd. , Toronto, ON, Canada
App is misleading. Does not show outcomes or scenarios of Bridles after Inputting the information. The app would be more helpful if the animation reflected the real measurments. Also needs formulas and calculator function and load bearing info, that would make it a true rigging/Bridle app.
The four screenshots shown is pretty much all you get. Its a small app that might be overpriced, but it delivers what it promises. I am in the Hollywood film industry and just took a required rigging safety course that focused heavily on this Bridle calculation. Im thrilled to find this app. Its small, but I like the layout and will definitely be able to use it.
